The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign would like to extend a great big thank you to all of our dedicated and enthusiastic runners who participated in running events this year.
In April, 112 fabulous runners completed the gruelling 26 miles in the London Marathon and raised an amazing £240,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. In April and May, 3,370 runners took to the streets of Cambridge and Oxford for our very own Town and Gown 10k series, raising more than £114,000, and in September #TeamOrange runners braved the rain for the Great North Run and raised £55,000 towards our work supporting people with muscle-wasting conditions.
We have plenty more running opportunities in 2013, so lace up your trainers and join #TeamOrange!
