It was a privilege to have our President, Sue Barker MBE, at our National Conference in Nottingham to present the worthy recipients with their President’s Awards. Winners included Campaigners of the Year, Gerry and Geraldine McCollum, Health Professional of the Year, Dr Reghan Foley, and Inspiring Young Person of the Year, Vivek Gohil. Special recognition awards were given to those who have achieved so much for the charity, including Justine McAllister, Katie Bizzey and the Layton Family.
We were honoured to have one of the charity's longest-standing supporters and star of BBC's Rover City, Eileen McCallum, to present the Kite Awards to our worthy recipients at our Scottish Conference in Glasgow. Winners included Campaigner of the Year, Mark Chapman and Volunteers of the Year, the Martin family.
