Advocacy service secures £800k worth of support
This year our advocacy service, which helps people with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions to fight for their rights and get the essential services and equipment they need, has secured more than £800,000 worth of support. We’d like to thank our pro-bono partner law firm, Hogan Lovells who have provided their expertise and support on a number of cases.
We were delighted to be able to help Jake secure a much-needed new wheelchair. Jake said, “Thank you so much for your help in getting me my new Storm 4 wheelchair. I’m sure without your input I would still be in my old chair with the same old problems!”
